Recyclebank

Does anyone not know about this? Recyclebank gives you points for doing things you want to do already. You might get points if your area participates in their program. You also can get points for learning about recycling or making various pledges. How much fun it that? Well at least I enjoy it. Then they have various rewards you can get with points. It could be coupons on food or gift cards to restaurants or other places. They even have discounts or gift cards to the movies. Now you have to admit that really is cool. Here's my link. So even though I don't post often I do like to when I find a really fabulous deal. The newest 'toy' I've found is texts from various businesses. Like if you text McOffers to 46786 McDonald's send you texts. To date we have gotten texts for a free sandwich, free snack size fish bites, and free Frappe or smoothie. :) I love free food, especially fast food.

Just because someone disagrees doesn't necessarily mean they are trying to argue. They might be trying to understand why you think something. They might be trying to get you to talk about your reasoning.

Random Thoughts - Leaders

I do not have any place else to keep random thought. Then I thought of putting them here. I am not sure why they qualify as a deal and steal though. :)

I am thinking about leaders today. More specifically what makes people leaders? The conclusion I have come to is that a leader is a person that has to be able to take the heat and keep thinking.

If they are speaking they have to keep thinking so they do not say something stupid. If they are working they have to keep working so they cannot keep wrapped up in problems. They have to think.

That is one of the areas I have to work on. To be able to think clearly at all times.
